MERE GOLF CLUB & RESORT
WEDDINGS & EVENTS AT MERE GOLF CLUB
with personal experience of the venue, we’re the ideal choice for your entertainment!
The Mere Golf Club & Resort in Cheshire oozes 5* luxury. Its function suites, staff and accommodation are unique and exquisite.
Unfortunately, I don’t get the privilege of visiting Mere Golf Club as much as I would like (up to four times a year) due to the managers having a resident disc jockey already in place. Usually clients who book me for their event/wedding at The Mere have seen me work in the past or I’ve been recommended by a friend or colleague.
Clients, who do book me from referrals, understand and appreciate the high quality of service I offer. As I’m not an agency, you are guaranteed to be working with me from the word ‘go’.
I would be delighted to meet you at the venue or your home to discuss your requirements before making a final decision. After all, your event is my reputation.

Ben and Rachel, 14th April 2012, Mere Golf Club
I left sunny Nottingham at 11.00am ready to be at Mere Golf Club for 1.00pm. I arrived at the venue with plenty of time to spare and started to setup behind the collapsible wall in the James Braid suite. I made use of the stage provided which worked a treat. The hotel provided background music and wireless microphones for the speeches so I wasnít required at this point.
At 7.00pm, the venue ëturned the room aroundí ready for the evening reception. They were helpful and efficient throughout.
I kicked off the proceedings with some background music ñ Dean Martin, Doris Day, Natalie Cole, Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra, Coldplay, Dusty Springfield, Jack Johnson, Oasis.
Once all the evening guests had arrived, it was time to cut the cake which I coordinated, ensuring all the guests could capture this special moment.
Ben & Rachels first dance was ‘The first time ever I saw your face – Stereophonics, which received a great response from their guests. Two minutes into the song, I invited friends and family to come and join them which broke the ice and got the party started! From thereon, it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening! The groom had arranged & choreographed a huge dance for his blushing bride. Fifty wedding guests broke into dance to Moves Like Jagger – Maroon 5. Rachel was overwhelmed!
The last song of the evening was Rule the world – Take That.
I won’t forget this wedding for a long time and can’t wait to be back at The Mere Golf Club Resort in Cheshire.
